The clock continues to run when a player goes out of bounds. I do not understand that. Off the field means STOP. What would happen if the NBA had the same rule? For one, the last 90 seconds of a game would not last as long as one of the first three quarters. If games are lasting too long, shorten the quarters, but please, stop the clock when the play is out of bounds. Then, I see the refs stopping play so the opposition can make subs. What the hell is that all about? If a coach wants to change the lineup, be prepared or be forced to call timeout. I see delay of game called after the ref stops the snap so the defence can readjust. The ref is stopping the snap and the clock is running; do not understand that. These are not earth shaking events; it is a sport that many follow. I present these observations only for your opinion and rebuttal.
